Paul Larson was so helpful and kind to our family when we lost my grandma. I'm so thankful for him and his service.

Paul Larson and his staff were absolutely amazing. They were caring and compassionate. We handed him a unique circumstance where my Jewish-born dad was being buried in a Catholic cemetery. My dad didn't really practice a religion, but my mom and I asked if he could find a priest to say some words at the graveside. He found a wonderful priest who really provided us comfort and, unknowingly, recited my favorite prayer, The Blessing. Paul was very responsive to any questions we had and called us back in a timely manner. We cannot recommend them enough. Unfortunately, I have had to go to a few funerals over the last several years and Chapel of the Highlands was by far the best funeral home I have encountered. You would not be disappointed with their services. They truly go above and beyond.

Difficult as it may seem to say "thank you for a job well done" when funeral arrangements are involved, that is exactly what we say to Paul Larson and staff. From the moment we stepped into the office till the moment we left the chapel and cemetery we felt loved, cared for, and understood. ALL aspects of the planning, vigil services and funeral were handled with the upmost kindness and expertise...what a blessing! Thank you, thank you, thank you for your thoughtful commitment and professionalism to all those grieving. You truly are the best!

Our experience was amazing and my Family was treated so well when we lost our Mom. Paul guided us through planning everything for complete services for our Mom with compassion, grace and value while we were sad and still grieving our Mom. I am extremely grateful that my Mom chose Chapel of the Highlands because we received all services that we requested and that Mom had desired as she was laid rest!

Unfortunately, I needed the services of a funeral home twice in two years for family members. The staff at Chapel of the Highlands were great and took great care of our loved ones, made all the necessary arrangements and supported us greatly for funeral services. Some of our requests were out of the ordinary and the Chapel staff had no hesitation to support us. When the second need arose, there was no doubt that I would turn to Chapel of the Highlands and it was one less thing to worry about, knowing that their staff were extremely competent and caring.

The staff at Chapel of Highlands was very helpful and responsive to our loss. The staff is discreet and efficient. Paul was very patient and helped us to understand the costs and process. It is not an easy time for any family when there is a loss, but the support you get can make a big difference.

I attended a funeral at Chapel of the Highlands last Saturday. The staff is all extremely professional, courteous and kind. The ambience is very comforting and everything was done according to the plan. It is nice to know that there are still businesses that put the emphasis on the customer, especially when they are going through such a difficult time. I'd like to sincerely thank Paul Larson and his staff at Chapel of the Highlands for helping me and my family through all the funeral arrangements and planning for our mother. Their professionalism on how to move forward step by step made the process smooth and less stressful during the difficult time of our loss. My father recently passed away. I helped my mother make the arrangements. We met with Paul and he did a great job. He is very knowledgable and knows everything that needs to get done. He asks all the right questions to make sure there are no surprises. Becasue all of this needs to happen in just few days, he gets on the phone and books all the neccessary people and services e.g. priest, chruch, pianist, singer, etc. while you are there. He also will help you with the Obituary and have it placed if you so dessire. They have a full range of caskets $1,800- $27,000 and no pressure to buy anthing you don't want. He truly has a calling for this. Compasionate, but knows his job is to get this done for you in a difficult time when you can't really think straight. HIs staff is just as professional. This inital meeting to get everything sorted out takes a few hours.

I would like to thank everyone at Chapel of the Highlands for their professionalism, support, kindness & respect they showed to me and my family during a very stressful and emotional time in our lives. From the initial preplanning services over a year ago to the recent passing of our mother, we were always treated with warmth & compassion.

Chapel of the Highlands assisted us with every detail of my Fathers funeral just yesterday. When you think about it, the funeral home is the beginning of our loss/grief, closure and healing.

My experience with the Chapel of the Highlands was so positive on every front. Their sensitivity at this hour of our needs was down-right "healing".

The staff, especially Paul Larson, took care of every detail from the wake & rosary, the funeral itself and the departure ceremony that ended at the cemetery.

Every now and again you come across a person who you realize is born to do their job. Paul Larson, as a funeral director is one of those people. His compassion and professionalism for people are not to be questioned. He cares about what he does and wants to help families in their time of need. Paul and his staff recently handle my wife's service and went above and beyond what I would have expected. He talks you through the process and make sure that you take what every time you need in making decisions. The facility is clean and his staff are kind and above all profeessional.

I worked with Chapel of the Highlands from pre-need all the way through to at-need and the memorial service. They took care of everything. Special thanks to Jim Pappas and to Chris Alameda -- above and beyond, gentlemen! They are kind, respectful and professional, and the facility is quite nice. Even months later when I needed their assistance for one final touch, it was done beautifully and without hesitation. Cannot say enough good things about Chapel of the Highlands.

This is a delicate line of work that requires professionalism, attention to detail, patience, compassion, excellent communication skills and a large supply of tissue. Paul and his staff evidence all these attributes and more and were superb in handling the passing of my mother-in-law just last week. I cannot thank them enough for how much effort they go through to make everything come together to honor the passing of a loved one. And they do it all wrapped with overwhelming kindness and graciousness that truly honors both the grieving family and the loved one who has passed.

I have had to plan 4 funerals so far in my life and each time I went to Chapel of the Highlands. Paul and Haley and Nadia and Cassie are so helpful, respectful and kind. They made my experience each time smooth and thorough. Paul coordinates with the Church and the Cemetery. Paul thinks of every detail and manages the day of the service with perfection. Paul and his staff were wonderful during this whole process. Our guest commented on how wonderful the services were. From the Rosary, Mass and most of all the burial. Our guests have never experienced a service where the steps of the burial was explained. I didn't know what to expect but I loved how Paul explained what was being done. My experience with Paul Larson at the Chapel of the Highlands was as good as it could be during this sad time. I had no idea what to do when a loved one passes, and Paul Larson at The Chapel of the Highlands explained the whole process to me and made it as easy as possible. During this most difficult time Paul was there to help me every step of the way.

I called him when my uncle was in hospice, and he told me that when my uncle passes to call immediately, and they would come and remove his remains. He then arranged everything needed for a wonderful service. He contacted the Veterans Administration to arrange a military service, he made the arrangements with the cemetery and the florist so that everything went smoothly at the service, and since my uncle was not religious and had no pastor, he performed a wonderful eulogy at the service.

I highly recommend the services of Paul and the Chapel of the Highlands!

Have been to other services at Chapel of the Highlands but never needed their services for myself until my mom passed in June. The staff helped making all the tough choices seem a little bit easier. They were there every step of the way.

Then my husband passed unexpectedly. They helped me move him there and let me have a service he would have wanted no matter how many times they might have questioned what I wanted to do.

Thanks to the staff this hard time was a little easier. Use them when the time comes for any loved one.

My husband and I purchased the package over 10 years ago. Best thing we did. My husband has passed away and the funeral was going to be double the price. For everyone, I highly recommend pre-purchasing your funeral arrangement's. Guarantee you will regret when that time comes, unless you're rich and don't care.
