CASKET OFFERINGS

The caskets listed represent a cross section of those regularly selected by the families we serve. If you have specific needs please let us know and we will assist you in finding the appropriate available casket.

Burial Caskets, including Cremation Caskets, range in price from $45,850 to $1,295.00 for adults.  Caskets for infants and children are available by special order and range in price (dependent on size) from $2,795 to $250.00.  Alternative Containers available for direct cremations range in price from $1,025.00 to $80.00.  Some caskets on our price list may not be on hand in our display room but we do have photographs available, or we can show you simular caskets in category and price.

WARRANTIES

The Chapel of the Highlands makes no representations or warranties about the protective value of certain caskets or outer burial containers other than those made by the manufacturer. The only warranties, expressed or implied, granted in connection with goods sold with this funeral service are the written warranties, if any, extended by the manufactures thereof. No other warranties and, specifically, no warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are extended by the seller.

BRONZE & COPPER – NON RUSTING

  • Naturally non-rusting by nature of the material
  • Gauged by weight per square foot: 32 ounce or 48 ounce
  • Alludes permanence

  • Ancient statues, as well as monuments and ship’s propellers are cast in bronze

HARDWOOD CASKETS

  • Unmatched with warmth and beauty
  • Hand crafted like fine furniture

  • Available in a variety of select wood types / species

STAINLESS STEEL

  • Rust resistant
  • Known for its longevity as evidenced by its use in tableware, medical equipment and jet engines
  • Constructed of either premium or basic grades which offer varying degrees of strength and endurance

STEEL CASKETS

  • Classified by “Gauge” or thickness (number of metal sheets measured to an inch):
    • 16 Gauge: Heavy or Thickest
    • 18 Gauge: Medium
    • 20 Gauge: Light or Thinnest
  • Selected styles available with durability enhancing features
 
Note: The following examples are a simplified cross section of caskets the families we serve are currently selecting.  Every casket that exists isn’t listed, but these are current popular choices.  We do have access to hundreds of caskets we can special order, and will help you find a choice you are comfortable with in color, design and price.
 
  • The corners on a number of caskets are designed to display interchangeable corner choices. These “Keepsakes” are removable and can be returned to you after the funeral (or stay attached to the casket if you wish).
